OCTOBER 2020
In our Trivandrum Institute, we have continued to provide palliative care services despite the COVID-19 situation – outpatient, inpatient and home visit services supported by telephone reviews and telemedicine. But there have clearly been challenges.
One of our patients was tested positive for Covid-19. And now, despite taking all safety measures, four of our staff members have been infected. Three of them have recovered and one person has just been tested positive.
We keep our fingers crossed and continue our services.
